Monaghan Harps Lotto: The numbers for last Sunday's draw were 4, 10, 15 and 28. Jackpot of €4,700 not won. This week's four €40 lucky-dip prize winners were: Emmett McKenna c/o Maria McKenna; Deirdre Drum c/o ClubZap; Paula McGinn c/o Ann Treanor; and Éanna Finlay c/o ClubZap. The sellers' prize of €20 was won by Kevin Treanor. Jackpot for Sunday, June 22 is €4,800. Thanks to everyone for continuing to support our Lotto and to the committee and the regular helpers for their efforts in keeping the show on the road and providing essential funding towards our development work over the last three decades. We would greatly appreciate if every family involved in the club would consider setting up a recurring Lotto entry via ClubZap. Please note that the cut-off point for ClubZap each week is 6pm on Sunday.
Flag Day: Our annual street collection takes place this Friday and Saturday, June 20 & 21. Thanks to everyone who has volunteered to help out: we still have a few spaces to fill. If anyone can give an hour or two, please let Alison Clerkin (087 9482120) or Úna Forde (087 6107329) know. All help is greatly appreciated.
Fundraiser launch night: We hold our launch night for our December Film Awards fundraiser this Saturday, June 21 at 7pm in the clubhouse. On the night, we will find out from MC Seán McCaffrey the movies that have been chosen and our actors discover the roles they will shine in! Why not bring along friends and family to join in on the excitement and see what the fundraiser is all about. Light refreshments will be served and the clubhouse bar will be open.
IFL: We returned to winning ways in the IFL with a strong performance at home to Carrickmacross last Friday night. A string of scores from Luke McManus, Fionán Ó Gallchóir and Seán Callan helped us take a 1-10 to 0-8 lead in at half-time. Luke kept his tally rising throughout the second half, while Kevin Loughran, Éimhín Morahan and Seán were also on target and Nicholas Scott marked his return with a well-taken two-pointer to help us to a 1-25 to 0-14 win. Our next game is away to Killanny on Friday, June 27. We wish Shea Corrigan a speedy recovery from his injury.
Team and scorers: Daragh Croarkin; Oisín Fagan, Kevin Moran, Shea Corrigan; Dara Mullin, Gary Devlin, Kevin Loughran (0-1); Lochlainn Power (Joint-Capt.), Dylan McKenna; Seán Callan (0-5, 1 2-pt), Éimhín Morahan (Joint-Capt., 0-2f), Senan Cudden; Michael Galligan, Luke McManus (1-11, 1 2-pt, 1 2-pt-f, 0-1f), Fionán Ó Gallchóir (0-2).
Subs used: Shane Moran; Liam Conway; Nicholas Scott (0-2, 1 2-pt); Jake McConnon; Cian Bradley.
Reserves: Our Reserve Division 1B team lost narrowly at home to Truagh in an entertaining match on Monday night. Nicholas Scott, Oisín Fagan, Cian Bradley, Dara Mullin, Eoin O'Hanlon and Francis Lynch were all on target during the first half, but two goals for Truagh sent them in leading by 2-11 to 0-12. Our lads kept plugging away to the end, with Liam Hahessy, Shea Swift and Niall Greenan adding their names to the scoresheet and Cian finding the net, but several near-misses from goal chances proved costly as we lost out on a scoreline of 1-18 to 3-15. We are away to Emyvale next Tuesday, where we need a win to stay in contention for a semi-final place.
We wish Shane Moran a speedy recovery from the injury he suffered during Monday's game.

U-16: Our U-16s are also on an exam break.
U-14: Congratulations to our U-14 Division One team on a fine win over Donaghmoyne in the Shield Final last night (Wednesday). A depleted Division 6A side lost out to Oram in their Shield Final last Tuesday. Good luck to all involved in preparing for the upcoming U-14 championships.
U-12: Our U-12s had a busy weekend, hosting Scotstown in Division Five on Friday and Inniskeen in a double-header on Saturday. Both our Division One and Seven teams were in goal-scoring form in clinching wins over Inniskeen in wet conditions. The lads continue their leagues with a double-bill away to Castleblayney tonight (Thursday) and a Division Five match in Latton tomorrow evening (Friday).
Gavan Duffy Park: We had a very busy Saturday morning and afternoon at Gavan Duffy Park, hosting a blitz for U-10s and U-8s, followed by an U-14 Final between Éire Óg and Aghabog. Thanks to everyone who helped out.
Scór: Well done to everyone who represented the Harps in the county Spraoi Scór competitions last weekend.
Sympathy: Cumann Cláirsigh Mhuineacháin express sincere sympathies to our senior joint-captain Lochlainn and his family on the passing of his grandmother, Moira Power. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam.
