Thanks to everyone for continuing to support our Lotto and to the committee and the regular helpers for their efforts in keeping the show on the road and providing essential funding towards our development work over the last three decades. We would greatly appreciate if every family involved in the club would consider setting up a recurring Lotto entry via ClubZap. Please note that the cut-off point for ClubZap each week is 6pm on Sunday.

Fundraiser launch night: We held our launch night for our December Film Awards fundraiser last Saturday in the clubhouse. We were delighted to see such a great turnout. We got to find out the films that will be made and all the actors found out the roles they will be mastering! The excitement is really starting to build, everyone is looking forward to getting stuck into learning lines and practicing an accent or two. Thanks to our MC Seán McCaffrey and everyone involved.
Reserves: An understrength Reserve Division 1B team lost away to Emyvale on Tuesday night. Our Division 3B side are due to face Truagh this Sunday.
Minors: Our minors return from the exam break by hosting Castleblayney next Tuesday evening
U-16: Our U-16s await the start of the championship after the exam break
U-14: Our U-14s won the Division One Shield in a very entertaining game against Donaghmoyne in Oram last Wednesday. The game was expected to be close as honours were even following two previous encounters this year. Donaghmoyne got a great start against the breeze, going ahead by 1-3 to 0-0. The lads fought back; settling into a good rhythm and eventually taking a lead that they would never relinquish. Despite spurning a number of opportunities in the first half, the team managed to lead by five points at half-time. Starting the second half strongly, they extended their lead to nine points, before Donaghmoyne, taking advantage of the elements, came back strongly and cut the margin to just three with a little over five minutes to go. A strong finish saw the Harps run out winners on a 4-18 to 2-14 scoreline. Well done to our players and coaches and good luck in the upcoming championship.
