Monaghan Harps Lotto: The numbers for last Sunday's draw were 7, 9, 15 and 30. Jackpot of €4,200 not won. This week's four €40 lucky-dip prize winners were: Vladimir c/o Rose Donnelly; Kevin Treanor c/o Ann Treanor; Alanna McCann c/o Séamus Treanor; and Terry Gilsenan c/o Ann Treanor. The sellers' prize of €20 was won by Dermot Coyle. Jackpot for Sunday, May 18 is €4,300. Thanks to everyone for continuing to support our Lotto and to the committee and the regular helpers for their efforts in keeping the show on the road and providing essential funding towards our development work over the last three decades. We would greatly appreciate if every family involved in the club would consider setting up a recurring Lotto entry via ClubZap. Please note that the cut-off point for ClubZap each week is 6pm on Sunday.

DIL: Darkness Into Light, the annual fundraiser for Pieta House, brought a big crowd out and about in ideal conditions early last Saturday morning. As ever, our club members rowed in behind the event, supporting the committee chaired by Seán McKenna, while we remembered some sadly-missed friends and volunteers on the morning. Thanks very much to everyone involved.

Sympathies: Cumann Cláirsigh Mhuineacháin wish to express sincere sympathies to Paula, Shane, Jim, Kathleen, Brenda and the extended McConnon family on the passing of Bernie. We keep Bernie's family and friends in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. Cumann Cláirsigh Mhuineacháin also send sincere sympathies to Gussy Hughes and family on the passing of his sister Margaret. Margaret and her late mother Philomena were excellent neighbours to Monaghan Harps when they lived in Rooskey Vale. May Margaret rest in eternal peace back with Philomena. At lst week's club meeting, our committee passed votes of sympathy to the families of Padraig McElvaney and Fabian Greenan. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a n-anamacha.

Scór: Spraoi Scór takes place next month (Quiz on Thursday, June 12 & stage events on Saturday, June 15). Any primary-school children interested in representing the Harps can contact Jackie Reilly on 085 8588648.

Dates to remember: Our annual juvenile street collection is to take place on June 20/21. Our annual in-house summer camp is set for August 11-15. We have a major club fundraiser booked for December 5 (keep posted to club notes & social media for more information).

IFL: We had a hard-earned win at home to Clones in the Intermediate Football League last Friday. A goal by Éimhín Morahan and points by Gary Devlin, Seán Callan, Kevin Loughran, Dara Mullin, Fionán Ó Gallchóir and Luke McManus had us 1-10 to 0-10 up at half-time. Luke, Dara, Éimhín and Seán added to their tallies during the second half, while Dylan McKenna and Senan Cudden were also on target, meaning our 1-21 total was enough to withstand a late goal from Clones.

Team and scorers: Daragh Croarkin; Ethan McCaffrey, Kevin Moran, Jack Lynch; Gary Devlin (0-1), Seán Callan (0-2), Kevin Loughran (0-1); Lochlainn Power (Joint-Capt.), Dylan McKenna (0-1); Senan Cudden (0-2, 1 2-pt), Dara Mullin (0-3), Dean Doherty; Fionán Ó Gallchóir (0-2), Luke McManus (0-6, 5f), Éimhín Morahan (Joint-Capt., 1-3).

Sub used: Nathan Lavery.

Our next game is v Tyholland on Friday week, May 23.
